Hunterdon County Man Charged After ATV Pins Him Against Tree
Police said the 54-year-old man was driving the ATV on NJ Transit railroad tracks when it slid down an embankment and trapped him.

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ — A Readington man is facing several charges after authorities said he became pinned between an ATV and a tree while riding it on railroad tracks, according to police and a report.
Readington police said the incident happened around noon Monday on NJ Transit railroad tracks. Andrew Fultz, 54, of Readington, was riding an ATV west on the tracks when the vehicle went down an embankment along Railroad Avenue, authorities told New Jersey 101.5.
Police said Fultz became trapped between the ATV and a tree. Reports said Fultz tried waving down help for more than an hour before he was noticed and first responders were called.

Fultz was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, defiant trespass and related traffic offenses.
The incident caused a 15-minute delay on the Raritan Valley Line, according to the line's X account.
