Hunterdon County Rug Artisans Guild

The Hunterdon County Rug Artisans Guild (HCRAG) is holding its regional School beginning Monday, July 28, 2025 through Friday, August 1, 2025 at J.P. Case Middle School, 301 Case Boulevard, Flemington, NJ 08822. The schedule is as follows: Monday through Thursday 9 am to 4 pm; Friday 9 am to 12 pm.

Instruction is offered with Laura Kenyon, Sarah Guiliani, Emily Williams, and Janet Williams. School fee is $275.00 and in order to attend School, each registrant must be a member of HCRAG. Membership is $25/year. A separate check and membership form are necessary. Registration for School is required as teacher choice and participation is limited. Additionally, the Guild works to encourage creativity and promote educational activities for rug hookers and will sponsor a Beginner’s Workshop on learning to hook rugs in the traditional manner from 9:00 to noon on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The workshop will be led by a certified rug hooking instructor who is a member of the Guild. Beginners are encouraged to bring lunch and to stay for the afternoon to continue working on their projects with those attending rug School. The workshop is intended for adults. However, children ages 12-18 can participate if accompanied by an adult. The Beginner’s Workshop registration fee is $95. Participants need to provide a pair of sharp scissors. All other supplies and equipment will be provided. Deadline to register is July 5, 2025.
