Hunterdon HS Extends Sympathies To Late Student's Family: Report
Edin Carrera, 17, died Wednesday, his obituary states. He was a senior at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, according to a report.
HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ — The Hunterdon Central Regional High School community is mourning a student who died earlier this week.
Edin Carrera, 17, died Wednesday in Raritan Township, his obituary states.
Nancy Tucker, the school's communications officer, said in a statement that, "the administration and staff of Hunterdon Central offer our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Edin Carrera Calderon during this difficult time," mycentraljersey.com reported.

Superintendent Dr. Jeffery Moore said in a message to students that, "we want you to know that we are all here for you," TAPinto Flemington/Raritan reported.
More than $18,000 had been donated to the Edin Carrera Tribute Fund in the days since his death.
