Meet A Future Leader In Flemington: Raaid Hasani

The future of Flemington is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Raaid Hasani, who are making a positive impact in and around Flemington.

Raaid Hasani, a junior at the Noor-Ul-Iman School, is an exceptional young leader whose dedication to service and community impact has earned him widespread recognition. Recently, the Hunterdon County Commissioners proudly presented Raaid with a proclamation for his exceptional Eagle Scout project, which involved installing a new paver walkway at the Flemington Area Food Pantry. Through careful planning, fundraising and coordinating volunteers, Raaid enhanced the pantry’s services, making a significant difference in the community.

In an interview with WRNJ, Commissioner Director John Lanze shared, “Raaid’s project not only demonstrates his capabilities as a leader but also highlights the importance of community involvement and the positive difference that it makes in the lives of others.”

In addition to his Eagle Scout achievement, Raaid volunteers regularly at both the Flemington Area Food Pantry and the Hunterdon County Library. Raaid’s efforts have earned him both the SOA Presidential Service Awards of Gold and Bronze in 2024 and 2025. A member of the National Honor Society and the Rho Kappa Association, Raaid’s involvement in academics and extracurriculars, along with his work as a part-time lifeguard at the Flemington YMCA, makes him an exemplary role model for his peers and a true leader in the Flemington area.
