A local quilt guild in Flemington is enormously proud of the various
charity items and fundraising completed in 2023. The Courthouse
Quilters Guild raised $6,421 for Safe Harbor and the Jim Hamilton
Scholarship Fund. Using our talent for sewing, we made 72 cough
pillows for Capital Health, 190 pillowcases for Ryan’s Case for Smiles,
146 placemats for Meals on Wheels and 6 quilts for Quilts for Kids.
We also donated 172 pounds of product/food to the Food Bank. With
62% participation, our Guild is proud of its accomplishments in just
one year. We are always interested in increasing membership. In
addition to the above accomplishments, we have great informative
meetings, speakers, workshops, show & tell, etc. Feel free to contact
us at info@courthousequilters.org or check us out online
