Small Plane Crashes After Leaving NJ Airport On Wednesday: FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating a small plane crash in North Jersey, officials said.

PITTSTOWN, NJ - A single-engine plane crashed Wednesday near Sky Manor Airport in Pittstown, officials said.

The single-engine Cessna 150 crashed shortly after taking off around noon with only a pilot on board, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson told Patch. The pilot was not publicly identified by the FAA.

New Jersey State Police said the pilot only reported minor injuries, according to NJ.com.
