Stolen Pride Flags Prompt $2500 Reward From Hunterdon Authorities
A string of stolen and damaged pride flags has prompted a bias crime investigation in Frenchtown, officials said.
HUNTERDON COUNTY - A string of stolen and damaged pride flags has prompted a bias crime investigation in Frenchtown, officials said.
Between Aug. 7 and 8, 11 LGBTQ+ pride and transgender flags were reported stolen or damaged from multiple residences in the borough, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said.
Hunterdon County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the theft and damage.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office at 908-788-1129 or the Frenchtown Police Department at 908-996-4820. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-321-0010, online at www.CrimeStoppersHunterdon.com or through the “P3 Tips” smartphone app. All tips are anonymous and kept confidential.
