• Former Lab Monkey Finds New Home at Popcorn Park (thesandpaper.net) — A former lab monkey who survived a highway crash is now settling into a new life at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River, where staff say he’s growing more comfortable each day. Now called Forrest, the rhesus macaque is healthy, bonding with caretakers, and enjoying favorite treats, while the refuge asks supporters to help fund his ongoing care and that of other rescued animals.
