Fair School Funding Press Conference

Scores of supporters, dozens of challengers and an equal number of sitting elected officials have reserved space for a large press conference on Fair School Funding at noon on the Capitol steps in Trenton, NJ.

District 37 Republican Assembly candidate Keith Jensen of Fort Lee says the plan will take on two issues:

"1. Confronts the state formula budgeting school administrations in the Abbott School Districts (31 ‘chosen’ cities which include Hoboken as ‘poor’, but no part of any municipalities in the 37th District – my District, which includes: Englewood, Teaneck, Hackensack and Fort Lee to name several). One part of this formula is the Free School Lunch program which has been identified with nearly $1B of fraud, annually!

2. Brings home no less than a 25% property tax reduction across the board. There are many articles, but here is a dated one that really hits home with me presenting to a fully Democrat town, which endorsed my plan (a Republican) by signing a resolution which was sent to Trenton."

Jensen recently gave a presentation to the Fort Lee Mayor and Council on Fair School Funding.
