Fort Lee Cop Frees Toddler Stuck In Toy

The 19-month-old toddler wasn't injured, police said.

FORT LEE, NJ — A borough police officer helped free a toddler who got stuck in a toy, authorities said.

Sgt. Richard Hernandez responded to a call about a 19-month-old toddler who "somehow" got himself stuck in a toy, said Capt. Matthew Hintze.

The child was not hurt, Hintze said.

The police department posted about the incident on its Facebook page, thanking Hernandez.
