Man On Run After Fort Lee Stabbing; Daycare Locked Down: Cops
The 33-year-old man is considered armed-and-dangerous, police said.

FORT LEE, NJ — A daycare has been locked down and police are searching for a man they said is "armed and dangerous" after he stabbed his roommate several times Thursday morning, police said.
Asim B. Ouhuru, 33, is wanted on aggravated assault and weapons charges, said Capt. Daniel Zusi.
Ouhuru fled his Executive Drive home on foot after stabbing his roommate several times in the back and neck, Zusi said. Nearby Lightbridge Academy Day Care was locked down as a precaution. Ouhuru was last seen near Genessee Avenue in Teaneck.

Police responded to Ouhuru's Executive Drive home on a report that a man had been stabbed multiple times in the neck and shoulder, Zusi said.
Police investigated and learned that Ouhuru and the victim are roommates and the incident was a domestic violence aggravated assault, the captain said.
