Fort Lee Police Want Your Expired Drugs: 2019 Operation Take Back

The Fort Lee Police Department is one of dozens of New Jersey locations where you may drop off expired or unwanted medication Saturday.

FORT LEE, NJ — The Fort Lee Police Department will be accepting unused or expired medication for Operation Take Back Saturday.

Residents will be able to safely dispose of their medicine at the Fort Lee Police Department at 1327 16th St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Medication may be disposed in its original container or deposited directly into the drug disposal box. Police encourage participants to remove the prescription label.

Liquid products should remain sealed in their original containers.

Syringes and other sharp objects will not be accepted.
