Franco's Fort Lee High School Event Raises $500
Restaurant donated 20 percent of participating customers' checks during week-long fundraiser to Class of 2014.
A fundraiser held at Franco's Metro in Fort Lee has raised more than $500 for the Fort Lee High School Class of 2014.
"We hope the seniors benefit from $500 and it lightens the financial load due around graduation time," said Gene Bazzarelli of Franco's Metro. "We really enjoy helping our community, this local participation and support is what it is all about!"
The event was initially scheduled for three days in late January and extended through the entire week of Jan. 20 due to inclement weather.
The restaurant donated 20 percent of participating customers' checks to the FLHS Class of 2014.
