Motor Home Catches Fire On Turnpike In Fort Lee: State Police
There were no injuries reported and lanes are closed, police said.
FORT LEE, NJ β A motor home reportedly caught fire on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday morning, closing lanes and delaying traffic, State Police said.
State Police troopers responded to a call about the fire at 8:43 a.m., said Sgt. First Class Jeff Flynn. The report was that a motor home caught fire, he said, and that no other vehicles were involved.
The Fort Lee Fire Department extinguished the fire at 9:28 a.m., said Trooper Charles Marchan

There were delays in the area due to partial lane closures, Flynn said.
Police did not know exactly when the roadway would fully reopen.
