Number one:
After a week off for spring recess, Fort Lee students and teachers return to their classrooms Monday as school resumes.

The Fort Lee school district is hosting four Korean teachers of English for the next month as part of the Total Immersion Course for Korean English Teachers (TICKET) program. The four visiting teachers of English begin co-teaching in Fort Lee classrooms Mondayβtwo at Fort Lee High School and two at Lewis F. Cole Middle School.

The Fort Lee Zoning Board meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hallβs Council Chambers.
Agenda items include Docket #1-11 - Kamil Homsi, 330 New York Avenue, Block 6054, Lot 6, R3 Residential Zone, minor subdivision of one one-family dwelling and one two-family dwelling and public hearing on Docket #3-11 - 231 McCloud Drive LLC Premier Developers, LLC, 231 McCloud Drive, Block 3151, Lot 28, R2 Single Family Residential Zone, two-family dwelling.

Polls are open Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m., when Fort Lee voters will elect three members to the Fort Lee Board of Education out of a pool of six candidates and vote yes or no on the $55.1 million school budget. Click here for polling places in Fort Leeβs 19 precincts.

And if youβre a fan of Fort Lee high school sports, Monday is somewhat of a dream day for youβweather permitting of course. The Bridgemen baseball team hosts Westwood at 4 p.m. The Lady Bridgemen return to action on Monday with a home game against Westwood also at 4 p.m. And the boys and girls track teams have their only meet of the week Monday, when they play host to Westwood. The track events also start at 4 p.m. at Fort Lee High School. If you prefer tennis, then youβll have to travel to Westwood. The undefeated Fort Lee tennis team is in action there at 4:15 p.m. Monday.
Number Five:
Also in sports, the Fort Lee Faculty All-Stars take on the Harlem Magic comedic basketball team Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fort Lee High School. The event is sponsored by the Scott Vasel Scholarship Fund and the Fort Lee High School Boys Basketball Team. Visit the Fort Lee Public Schools website for more information and ticket prices.
