You Said It: Why Should People Be Concerned About the Environment?

On Friday, members of Fort Lee’s Church of the Good Shepherd combined the celebration of Good Friday with Earth Day in an event called β€œStations of the Earth.”

The event, in which participants took to Fort Lee’s streets, saying prayers, reading scripture and picking up litter along the way, was a way to reflect upon the suffering and death of Jesus and connect it with the suffering of our environment.

So this week weΚΌre asking Patch readers the following question: In your opinion, why should people be concerned about the environment? Β
