2 People Killed In I-195 Crash In Upper Freehold: Police

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday near milepost 10 of I-195 East, NJ State Police said.

UPPER FREEHOLD, NJ — Two people were killed following a car crash on I-195 in Upper Freehold on Sunday, NJ State Police said.

At 3:01 a.m. on Sunday, police said troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 195 East in Upper Freehold.

Based on a preliminary investigation, authorities found that an Acura car was traveling east on I-195 with Denzel George, 20, of Ewing, and Janae Boisseau, 20, of Trenton, inside.

Around milepost 10 on I-195, police said the car ran off the road and hit two trees. As a result of the collision, police said both George and Boisseau were ejected from the car and sustained fatal injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation, and police said no additional information is available at this time.
