Matzah Bakery Family Day

Chabad of Western Monmouth County is proud to once again announce the opening of our Model Matzah Bakery in the Western Monmouth area.

The bakery will be open to schools and groups from March 19 through March 30, and open to the public on Sunday April 1. The Model Matzah Bakery presents a unique and enjoyable “hands on experience” where the participants have the opportunity to bake their very own Matzah, from start to finish.

(Important note: these Matzot are not kosher for Passover and should be eaten before the holiday).

The program will also include a special whole-wheat grinding demonstration to show the children how grain is milled to make flour for Passover.

To further enhance their experience, this year, each child will make their very own Pesach arts and crafts project. If you are interested in joining the program, please RSVP at 732-972-3687.
