Attacks Against Israel Denounced By Monmouth Commissioners
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners offered condolences, support for Israel in a statement issued Tuesday.

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has offered its support for Israel, following the Hamas terrorist attacks there.
“The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners joins the world in denouncing the horrific attacks that occurred in Israel," the board said in a statement issued Tuesday.
"To our friends in the Jewish community, please know that the Board of County Commissioners offers our condolences during this difficult time.

"We unequivocally support the people of Israel and hope a peaceful resolution can be reached,” the statement said.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, a multi-pronged terrorist attack by Hamas forces against Israeli civilians triggered the war now under way. At least 1,200 have died in Israel, including 14 Americans, according to U.S. government reports.

And 1,100 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip by Israel's retaliatory airstrikes, the Gaza Ministry of Health said, according to CBS News.
