Back To School: Freehold 2021-22 School Calendar

FREEHOLD, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Freehold, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Freehold Township School District and Freehold Borough School District.

The first day of school for most students in Freehold is Sept. 9.

Classes will be in person and masks will be mandatory both on school buses and in school buildings.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Freehold Township School District

First Day: Sept. 9

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (early dismissal on Nov. 24)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

Spring Break: April 15-22

Last Day: June 17

Freehold Borough School District

First Day: Sept. 9

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (early dismissal on Nov. 24)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31 (early dismissal on Dec. 23)

Spring Break: April 15-22 (early dismissal on April 14)

Last Day: June 17
