Borough Police Officers Sworn Into New Roles
Three Officers from the Freehold Borough Police Department have been sworn into their new positions.
Three of Freehold Borough’s finest have taken their oath of office and were sworn into their new roles as a Sergeant, Lieutenant and a Captain.
In front of a crowded during the Monday, July 2 Council Meeting, Patrolman Richard Ciampa was sworn in as a Sergeant, Sergeant Michael Sweetman was sworn in as a Lieutenant, and Lieutenant Craig Dispenza was sworn in as a Captain of the .
“This evening we gather at this meeting to witness the oath of office for three of our newly promoted Police Officers,” said Mayor Nolan Higgins to the audience. “Just as we celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, or a graduation, because those are significant events, we promote our Officers with their family, friends, and colleagues present and extend to all out best wishes.
