FREEHOLD, NJ - A beloved Garden State brunch tradition recently opened its newest Monmouth County outpost.
Brownstone Pancake Factory, which already touts locations in Englewood Cliffs, Edgewater and Brick, opened its Freehold location on March 1, according to its social media pages.
Located at 3445 Route 9 (the site of the former Perkins Restaurant and Bakery), the cafe offers larger-than-life pancake dishes decked out with fried Oreos, cupcakes, churros and syringes filled with chocolate. The eatery is also known for their self-proclaimed “insane” shakes stacked with pancakes, cupcakes and cookies on top. For those with less of a sweet tooth, an array of burgers and more are available.
