Bruce Springsteen Biopic Set To Film In Freehold: Report
After filming in spots throughout Asbury Park, the movie is now scheduled to visit Freehold, according to a report.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Get ready, because a new film about the Boss is set to film in Freehold, according to a report from the Asbury Park Press.
The Springsteen biopic, titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere” (and based on a book of the same name), is scheduled to film in Freehold on Friday, the report said.
The movie shoot follows a pause in filming that occurred in December when a crew member was sick, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The movie stars Jeremy Allen White (known for his roles in “Shameless” and “The Bear”) as a young Springsteen in the early 1980s.
The film follows Springsteen’s journey in creating his 1982 album, “Nebraska,” which came out as he recorded “Born in the USA” with the E Street Band.

In a conversation with SiriusXM's E Street Radio, Springsteen praised White's performance in the film, and confirmed that "he sings very well" after being on set.
"Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it," Springsteen said. "...He's just done a great job."
“Deliver Me From Nowhere” previously filmed in Asbury Park throughout December.
A casting call from Grant Wilfley Casting searched for extras to portray 1980s concert-goers in the film, with spots like the Stone Pony and Convention Hall being featured.
Filming is also set to take place at the Meadowlands in January.
