Christmas House Promises ‘Lights, Nostalgia & Festive Fun’ In Freehold

FREEHOLD, NJ — A new, immersive indoor Christmas attraction has officially opened at Freehold Raceway Mall.

Christmas House Freehold, located on the mall’s lower level of the Primark Wing, offers attendees a 45+ minute walk-through experience filled with lights, nostalgia, and festive fun.

The Freehold House features nearly a dozen uniquely themed rooms that capture the magic of the season, officials said. At the attraction, visitors can explore:

• A Snow Room (with real snow and the chance for a snowball fight)
• A North Pole Movie Theater (where holiday classics play on a giant screen with no time limit)
• An Indoor Light Show (where thousands of lights dance to music in a climate-controlled environment)
• A Harry Potter-Inspired Room (with a living portrait, floating candles, and illusionary effects)
• A Tropical Christmas Room (with sand, beach seating, and festive games)
• A Santa & Elves Illusion Room (where guests can experience size-changing illusions to feel giant like Santa or tiny like an elf)
• A Cozy Christmas Eve Room (offering the warmth and nostalgia of leaving cookies and milk out for Santa by a beautifully decorated tree)
• A Santa Tracker Station (allowing guests to send letters to Santa and check if they’re on the “Nice” or “Naughty” list)
• A Polar Bear Bar (an area where you can play pool and darts, as well as compete in trivia games)

Christmas House Freehold is accessible and designed for guests of all ages, officials said.

The entire attraction is indoors and climate-controlled, ensuring comfort no matter the weather. Families are encouraged to take their time in Christmas House Freehold, and guests have been known to spend over an hour in the attraction.

Tickets for Christmas House Freehold are available online and in advance. The attraction is open through Dec. 31, and purchasing tickets early is strongly recommended due to limited capacity.
