Detours Planned For Film Shoot In Downtown Freehold

FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ — Drivers should be aware of traffic restrictions that will be in place on Friday due to a movie being filmed in Downtown Freehold, borough officials said.

The restrictions will begin at 6 a.m. on Friday and are set to last until 5 p.m., according to officials. While traffic restrictions are in place, detours will be set up for drivers.

While the borough has not specified what movie will be filming on Friday, it could be the Bruce Springsteen biopic "Deliver Me From Nowhere," which was scheduled to film in Freehold the same day.

During filming, officials said drivers should obey posted traffic detour signs, police officers and traffic directors.

Pedestrian foot traffic may proceed as usual, though officials said it may be subject to brief holds. Businesses will be open as usual.

The Borough is asking residents not to distract or interfere with film operations.
