DWI Checkpoint Set For Freehold Township

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a DWI checkpoint in Freehold Township on Friday, DWI Task Force Coordinator Michael Schneider said.

The checkpoint will begin at 9 p.m. on Friday and run until 2 a.m. on Saturday, Schneider said.

During the checkpoint, all northbound vehicles on Route 9 will be diverted into the Juniper Plaza parking lot, where all drivers will be screened for their sobriety, according to officials.

Officers from local police departments will be working alongside Task Force members throughout the checkpoint, Schneider said.
