Experience A Pine Barren Bonfire At Turkey Swamp Park In Freehold

The Monmouth County Park System will be hosting a bonfire session with games, s'mores and more on Dec. 15.

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System will be hosting a Pine Barren Bonfire on Dec. 15 at the Turkey Swamp Park Council Ring in Freehold.

From 6-8 p.m., attendees can experience games, s’mores and a full moon alongside the bonfire. Guests should dress appropriately for the weather.

“Experience the flames dancing in the night, the smell of wood smoke in the air, and the feeling of warmth and companionship around the fire,” officials said.

Attendance is $15 per family of four per session. Payment will be accepted by cash or check only.

Additional sessions will be offered on Jan. 13 and Feb. 12.
