First Columbus Day Baby of 2012 Honored by Freehold Knights of Columbus #1672

Parents received a gift from the Freehold Knights of Columbus.

Say hello to the 2012 Columbus Day baby.

Matthew Lucas Ferreira was born on Oct. 12 at 4:45 a.m., the first baby born at CentraState Medical Center on the traditional Columbus Day. Parents, Erik and Maria Ferreira, of Englishtown, accepted a gift for their son from the Grand Knight of the Freehold Knights of Columbus #1672, Nicholas Fugaro, and Michael Dzergoski. 

Matthew weighed seven pounds, 11.2 ounces and was 20 inches long.
