Freehold Borough Independence Day Program Set For July 2

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Borough of Freehold Independence Day Concert and Fireworks event is Sunday, July 2, this year at Freehold Raceway, 130 Park Ave. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Music will be by:

• WCT-A New Band of Gypsies: 5:45 to 7 p.m.
• DJ Kortez: 5:25 to 5:40 p.m. and 7:05 to 7:50 p.m.
• Alexander Simone & Whodat? Live Crew: 8 to 9 p.m.
• Jimmy Armour sings "Star Spangled Banner" at 9:15 p.m.

The music simulcast for the fireworks provided by ARAT/95.9 and WJRZ/100.1.

Fireworks will start at dusk. Blankets and folding beach chairs are permitted, but no pets are permitted. No coolers or backpacks are allowed.
