Freehold Borough Woman Accused of Threatening Police Officer
The woman faces additional weapon possession charges.

A Freehold Borough woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly made terroristic threats towards a Freehold Borough Police Officer’s family.
Everina Powell, 18, of Barkalow Avenue, faces three charges after she allegedly made terroristic threats and possessed a weapon for an unlawful purpose. According to the complaint warrant, Powell told the law enforcement officer that she was going to "kill his wife and find someone to get his children”. The complaint warrant states that Powell had in her possession a red handled knife.
Powell has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $42,500 bail.
