Freehold Council Meeting Tuesday Night

The Freehold Township Committee will be meeting tonight to start its work in October with a relatively quiet agenda.

Mayor Barbara J. McMorrow will be giving a presentation on the “Mayor’s Wellness Campaign,” and one of the items on the consent agenda is a grant agreement with the Department of Transportation for the second phase of improvements on Burlington Road.

Monday’s rain has passed and the National Weather Service is calling for plenty of sunshine through Wednesday. The high for today is expected to be around 68 with a light wind before dropping to a low of around 49 tonight.
