Freehold Eatery Ranks Among Most Romantic Restaurants In America

One Freehold eatery made OpenTable's yearly list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in America, just in time for Valentine's Day

FREEHOLD, NJ — With Valentine's Day right around the corner, OpenTable released their 2022 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America list and one of Freehold's own restaurants has been named.

618 was one of the two New Jersey restaurants to make the list, which was compiled by analyzing over 12.4 million US diner reviews collected between Jan. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021. According to Susan Lee, OpenTable's chief growth officer, OpenTable has curated its annual list to "help diners get away for a night of romance and fall back in love with restaurants again."

OpenTable describes 618 as "a modern rustic restaurant, bar and banquet facility, that offers a menu that reflects seasonal availability with a creative style that appeals to a variety of palates."

"We strive for excellence for our guests, every single visit,” Liz Borowski, a representative for 618 told Patch. “Whether it is our delicious food, creative cocktails or our incredible service, we want you to have the same experience (or better) each time you come in."

"We have been voted #1 restaurant in Freehold on Trip Advisor for the past 4 years, along with maintaining a 4.8 rating on Open Table. Our high rating attributes to our consistency," continued Borowski.

618 also operates as a banquet hall where guests can host weddings, mitzvahs, engagement parties and showers.
