Freehold Library Debuts Art Show Wednesday
A look at events happening around Freehold on Wednesday November 27, 2013.

The Freehold Art Society is debuting a new exhibit of artwork on Wednesday at the Freehold Public Library. The show runs today through February 8 and is open to the public during regular library hours.
For younger residents who may not be as excited about the local art show the Encore Event Center at iPlay America will have a special event to kick off the holiday weekend. New York’s 92.3 NOW will bring Midnight Red to town for a free show with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m.
One thing we likely will not see in our area today is the sun. The National Weather Service is calling for a rainy day with a high around 59 but dropping to around 49 by 5 p.m. The dramatic temperature drop, continuing to around 29 tonight could mean a chance of minimal snow falling. Total rainfall could reach more than one inch before the day is done.

With the annual Thanksgiving game moved to Saturday morning people planning to cheer on the Rebels can avoid the high temperature of just 36 degrees. Saturday will not be much warmer with a high near 40 on a mostly sunny day.
