A Freehold resident faces a variety of charges after being arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. According to court documents, Wenslao Reyes-Cortez, 38, of Stonehurst Boulevard, faces charges of aggravated sexual assault for his actions with the girl Oct. 3 and close to 20 other occasions. Reyes-Cortez also faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly having sexual intercourse with the girl in the same timeframe.
