Freehold Mother A 'Cool Mom' Who Supports Daughters, Friends

FREEHOLD, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Jailyn Kruk who nominated Jessica Kruk of Freehold.

What makes your mom extra special?

My mom is special because she supports the family the best she can. For example, she provides food, shelter, and love for everyone in the house, but more specifically she lets us do sports, she pays for them and school, buys us everything we ask for, drives us everywhere, and way more.

Another reason why my mom is so special is that no matter how bad our attitude is, she still puts up with it and loves us.

Finally, another reason why my mom is special is because she is a really cool mom and all my friends like her. If one of them needs a ride she’s always offering. If one of them needs support for a fundraiser for example she always donates what she can. Even if they're bored she always lets them come over. That’s only a few reasons why my mom is so special but there is so much more.

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

I feel my mom deserves the spotlight because she’s always loving and caring toward us and provides us with everything we need and want.
