Freehold Participatory Budget Projects Will Be Presented Sept. 15
Voting will begin that day and continue until Sept. 26. Votes can be cast in person and online through the borough's website.
FREEHOLD, NJ — Freehold Borough residents will soon be able to weigh in on the projects that are most needed in town for the upcoming year.
The 2021 participatory budget projects will be presented in a town hall meeting on Sept. 15.
Voting will begin the same day and continue until Sept. 26. A total of 15 projects will be on the ballot.

Residents will be able to vote either in person on the Borough of Freehold Municipal Building or online through the borough's website.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall. If COVID Protocol changes the Town Hall will be held virtually. Check the Borough website for updates

Here's the list of projects selected in last year's participatory budget:
- ADA Playground equipment on Veterans Park
- Tree Replacement, Borough wide
- Tables and Benches on Lake Topanemus Park
