Freehold Recognizes Veterans on Monday

A look at events happening in Freehold this week.

A busy week in Freehold starts with a solemn ceremony at the Freehold Township Municipal Building.

The annual Veterans Day Ceremony is scheduled to be held today at 11 a.m. The administration will join the local post of the Veterans of Foreign War to recognize local residents who have served in the armed forces.

Members of the Freehold Township governing body will return to Town Hall on Tuesday for a meeting of the Freehold Township Committee. The full agenda had not been posted on the website as of Sunday night but there are a few public hearings scheduled.

The Freehold Public Library is scheduled to welcome author B. Well to town on Wednesday. Well, author of The Sandcastle People will be in attendance at the November meeting of the Teen Library Committee.

On Thursday night the Entrepreneurial Think Tank for Moms will welcome families from around town to their office on West Main Street for a special showing of the movie Monster University.
