Freehold Resident Charged With Aggravated Assault

Weapons charge for using a glass in April incident.

Freehold resident Jesus M. Guerra found a new use for the everyday glass which has resulted in several charges from an incident back in April.

Guerra, 39, faces one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for attempting to hurt another person with a glass on or about April 12. As a result of his use of the glass he also faces one count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and one count of fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

The final count is as a result of using the glass “under circumstances not manifestly appropriate for such lawful uses as it may have.”
