
A freehold resident faces a variety of charges after an indictment handed up by a Monmouth County Grand Jury following an incident at the end of January.
Lionel K. Ramey, 48, of Bowne Avenue faces one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance after he was found with cocaine on or about January 30 of this year.
Ramey also faces one count of third degree resisting arrest from the incident for allegedly using or threatening to use physical force or violence against the arresting officers. The third count of the indictment is for second degree eluding. According to the indictment Ramey is alleged to have attempted to flee the scene of the accident in a motor vehicle.
