Freehold Welcomes Beloved NY Bakery’s First NJ Location
A beloved Staten Island bakery known for its Italian baked fancies has chosen its first New Jersey location in Freehold Township.
FREEHOLD, NJ - A beloved Staten Island bakery known for its Italian baked fancies has chosen its first New Jersey location in Freehold Township.
The Settepani family opened Bruno Italian Bake Shop and Gelateria on West Main Street (356 W. Main St) in mid-November, the bakery announced on social media. An adjacent seasonal gelato shop is set to open sometime in spring 2023.
The Freehold location boasts classic Italian treats like lobster tails, Sicilian cannolis, biscotti and layered rainbow cookies.

According to NJ.com, Joseph Settepani - a Food Network “Sweet Genius” contestant - manages the Freehold location.
