Neptune Man Allegedly Spit Blood at Freehold Cop
A Neptune man faces one aggravated assault charge.

A Neptune man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Nov. 7 after he allegedly spit blood and saliva in the face of a Freehold Township police sergeant.
Jean Michel, 41, of Neptune, faces an aggravated assault charge for the alleged action. According to the complaint warrant, Michel attempted to cause bodily harm to the Sgt. by spitting his blood and saliva in the officer's face. The warrant states that the fluids permeated the officer’s eyes and mouth.
Michel has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $2,500 bail.
