“We would love to see you at the event for a fun and exciting evening,” event organizers said. “Together, we can all make a difference.”

The Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation was started by the family of Stephanie Parze following her death in 2019.

Parze, who was 25 at the time, was missing for 87 days before her body was discovered by local authorities. Parze’s ex-boyfriend, John Ozbilgen, was determined to be the one responsible for her death, according to prosecutors.

Since their inception, the foundation has aimed to provide education, intervention and support to families and individuals dealing with domestic violence, sexual abuse and missing loved ones.

Each year, the foundation has also honored Stephanie’s birthday — either with fundraisers like the Blingo Bingo Birthday Bash or with a candlelight vigil.

Stephanie Parze was described as “feisty, kind and independent” by her parents Ed and Sharlene.

In an interview with Patch, the couple spoke about their daughter, describing her as a gifted artist, strong-willed, and a devoted sister.
