The Loaded Spoon: A New Dining Experience In The Freehold Area
Looking for a new dining spot? The Loaded Spoon has its grand opening Friday at Renaissance Plaza in Freehold Township.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — March 17 isn't just St. Patrick's Day. It's the day the Freehold area officially gets a new restaurant to discover, The Loaded Spoon.
The Loaded Spoon has had a soft opening this week, but its grand opening is at 5 p.m. Friday, the restaurant says.
Freehold Township's newest dining spot, at 108 Schanck Road at Renaissance Plaza, offers "modern twists on American classics, innovative cocktails, and decadent desserts," the food and beverage director says.

There is a conversational-style bar, group dining areas for celebrations and captain’s tables overlooking the pastry kitchen. It's all in a completely renovated space adjacent to iPlay America.

Consider the "Chicken Lollipops," created from Bell & Evans confit chicken drums, Parmigiano Reggiano crust, overnight tomato purée with basil oil for $19.
The restaurant will serve brunch on the weekends beginning Saturday, March 18. According to the menu, brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appropriately enough for the St. Patrick's Day weekend, there is a menu item called "Irish Nachos," waffle fries, aged cheddar, with a Guinness demi-glace and bacon for $14.

Live DJ’s will take over on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 9 p.m., for what owners promise will be "an upscale nightlife experience." Check out the entertainment schedule here.
“Our goal is to exceed expectations in food, service and atmosphere - not only for a guest’s first visit, but time and time again,” said food and beverage director Christopher DeLuca.

Renaissance Plaza at Freehold is anchored by iPlay America, an indoor theme park, located at the interchange of Route 9, Route 33 and Schanck Road in Freehold Township.
The new restaurant is owned by iPlay America, according to a spokesperson, but is a unique destination.
