What drove you to seek public office?
Growing up, my mother was the President of the PTO — she was not only an advocate for students, but she fought for road infrastructure to make sure kids got to school safely. She shaped our family’s worldview and taught us the importance of stepping up to the plate to make sure things got done.
With her guidance, I continued to remain involved throughout my life, making sure great candidates run for office up and down the ballot, and ensuring we have representatives who are a voice for all constituents.
What sets you apart from the other candidates?
As a voter, I know how crucial it is to understand how processes and procedures work — and as an organizer, I know the need for voter education, accessibility, and transparency. This must come from the County Level, as there must be a local, grassroots movement
What do you see as the biggest issue Monmouth County is facing, and how will you resolve it?
Far too often, we’ve seen serious lapses in the electoral process — vote-by-mail ballots not sent by the deadline, ballots misdirected to the wrong municipality, and errors in in-person voting machines. These issues are unacceptable, especially from an office whose primary responsibility is to oversee and protect our elections.
There is no room for error, no tolerance for inaccurate results, and no excuse for a process that is anything less than seamless.
Quality control is not just a routine procedural step — it is a critical safeguard that upholds integrity, transparency, and public trust in our democracy. I’m running for office to safeguard the integrity of our elections.
What are past accomplishments or experiences that make you qualified for this position?
With my years of experience running campaigns, being a candidate, and mobilizing voters, I know firsthand that our elections must be fair, accurate, and accessible to everyone.
Whether serving on the Colts Neck Board of Education, campaigning for Monmouth County Commissioner in 2023, and managing a Congressional District 4 race — I know what is at stake in this election, and every election.
If elected, what do you most hope to achieve in Monmouth County?
I’m committed to streamlining our election process and creating a more efficient, transparent system that works for everyone.
To achieve this, we must first ensure that our polling locations are fully staffed with well-trained election workers who are equipped to handle any issues that may arise throughout the day. Equally important is the process to properly close polling sites and securely transport voting materials and data to the Clerk’s Office.
Once those results are in, accuracy is absolutely essential. There can be no room for miscalculation or error in tabulation. Election results are the foundation of public trust in our democracy, so they must be right the first time, every time.
By investing in training, support, and clear procedures, we can ensure a smooth, secure, and trustworthy election process from start to finish. If we want to protect Democracy, we have to start at the local level.
Name one thing about Monmouth County that always makes you smile.
Monmouth County is a place like no other — I moved back to New Jersey to settle down with my family, and what drew me to Colts Neck was the exceptional school district this community has to offer.
Beyond its quality education system, the county’s natural beauty is what sealed the deal once moving here. I often find myself going on hikes, and I feel lucky to be able to just take in the scenery in my neighborhood.
Being able to raise my family here is what drew me and many others to move to Monmouth, and I'm proud to call it my home.
