This Monmouth County Small Town Is One Of The Cutest In NJ, WorldAtlas Says
The town stands out for its "quiet streets, preserved 18th-century architecture, and intimate village feel," according to WorldAtlas.
ALLENTOWN, NJ — A Monmouth County town was recently named as one of the cutest small towns in New Jersey in a new list from WorldAtlas.
Allentown, located in the western part of Monmouth County, was ranked in WorldAtlas’ list of the 10 Cutest Small Towns In New Jersey.
Described as a town that hosts quiet streets and an “intimate village feel,” WorldAtlas said Allentown stands out for things like its preserved 18th-century architecture, variety of attractions and more.

The town features landmarks like the John Imlay Mansion (built in 1790 and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places), as well as nearby attractions like the NJ Fire Museum and the Cream Ridge Winery.
When visiting Allentown, WorldAtlas said history enthusiasts can stroll through the town’s historic district, take in centuries-old buildings and quaint streets, and enjoy leisurely walks and outdoor recreation in nearby parks.

“Allentown stands out for its quiet streets, preserved 18th-century architecture, and intimate village feel,” WorldAtlas said in their list. “Its quiet streets and historical architecture give the village a unique character that draws visitors seeking both charm and heritage.”
In an online post, Allentown Borough thanked WorldAtlas for naming them to their list of the 10 Cutest Small Towns In New Jersey, and invited visitors to come and see Allentown for themselves.
