MonmouthNJ250 Video Wins 'Home Grown' Award At Film Fest
Monmouth County government, based in historic Freehold, was recognized at the Garden State Film Festival for its 250th US anniversary video.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – Monmouth County, site of the pivotal Battle of Monmouth, takes its Revolutionary-era history seriously.
And the county is also leading the way in promoting plans to mark the 250th anniversary of the country in 2026 - the semiquincentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Now the county's rollout of a MonmouthNJ250 launch video has recognition of its own: It won the Garden State Film Festival’s “Home Grown PSA” award. The video is available on the MonmouthNJ250 YouTube Channel. The film festival, which took place in Asbury Park, concluded March 24.
