NJ’s Newest Chick-Fil-A To Open This Week: Here’s Where

Chicken fans, rejoice: the latest Chick-Fil-A has landed in the Garden State.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Chick-fil-A is slated to open its second location in Freehold on Thursday, Feb. 24, company officials said.

The restaurant, which Patch previously covered in its planning stages, will be located at the corner of Route 9 and Elton-Adelphia Road, in the New Freehold Plaza. Neighboring businesses will include a Wawa with a fuel station and a Taco Bell, according to local planning board documents.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Kelvin Gardner as the independent franchisee for the new Freehold location. Gardner will be responsible for all day-to-day activities, including overseeing a staff of 100 full and part-time team members.

As a part of their grand opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Freehold will be surprising 100 local heroes currently making an impact in Freehold with free Chick-fil-A for a year.

The hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Chick-fil-A boasts over 50 locations throughout the state. The new Freehold location would be the chain's 56th storefront in New Jersey.
