New Improvements Coming To Freehold Township Parks
Playground replacements, a new pavilion, and more are included in the town's plans for Michael J. Tighe Park and Medford Park.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The spring season has arrived and soon, new improvements will come to Freehold Township’s parks to celebrate.
In a post on the Freehold Township website, the Township Committee and Recreation Commission thanked residents for their patience on the improvement projects and said they expect projects to be completed on or before May 31, weather permitting.
The park improvements will be as follows, according to township officials:

Michael J. Tighe Park (Georgia Road Side)
- Replacement of stage and addition of new pavilion
- Replacement of pedestrian bridge to Polo Club
- Replacement of all-inclusive playground (coming soon)

- Replacement of (1) new Hockey Rink
- Replacement of playground
- JCP&L will be upgrading the parking lot lights
Medford Park
