New Store To Bring Gourmet Cupcakes, Royal-Themed Desserts To Monmouth County

FREEHOLD, NJ — A new boutique dessert company is set to open its first retail location at Freehold Raceway Mall.

CeeCee’s Cupcake Palace, known for its gourmet cupcakes and royal-themed dessert tables, will host its grand opening event at the mall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Founded and owned by Charita “Cee Cee” Houston-Guyton, the boutique dessert company is set to bring a “luxurious dessert experience” to the heart of Monmouth County, officials said.

Celebrated for its visually stunning cupcakes, the Cupcake Palace is also known for its handcrafted buttercream, premium ingredients, and pre-made cakes that customers can choose in-store, complete with the option to choose a different icing color for a personalized touch.

In a news release sent to Patch, Houston-Guyton described opening the store as “a dream realized.”

“This community has supported us for years, and we are thrilled to bring a royal dessert experience to Freehold Raceway Mall,” Houston-Guyton said. “We want every customer to feel the love, creativity, and joy that goes into our treats.”

At the Grand Opening of CeeCee’s Cupcake Palace, attendees will be able to enjoy celebration highlights and deals, which include:

• Free bite-sized cupcakes for the first 100 guests
• 20% off dessert table bookings for events (on Opening Day only)
• A $1 raffle for a chance to win a free six-inch, two-layer cake
• In-store photo opportunities featuring the signature Royal Bakery
