Open Space Pace Provides Equine Display In Freehold

In an effort to promote the long tradition of the equine community in Monmouth County downtown Freehold was transformed into a horse show stage on Saturday morning.
During the parade local equine groups showed off their riding skills and their mounts walking in front of a reviewing stand that included members of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Sheriff Shaun Golden, the Freehold Borough Council and other notable people from the local horse community. 
Longtime Freeholder Lillian Burry served as the grand marshall of the parade that also include a performance by the Freehold High School Marching Band. 
The event started in front of the Hall of Records before a big finale at the Freehold Raceway.
